Free Agency:
Free agency is done on our forums and in fact there is a nice pool of talent available in the offseason. All free agency is done through a waiver system during the regular season, with the lowest record teams getting first choice. For more free agency rules, check the free agency forums
One BIG RULE:
Our play style is somewhat "sim" style. Sportsmanship above any other rule is the most important.
Fair Play:
Fair play means no going for it on forth down unless you're down by two touchdowns in the second half. It also means no offside kicks unless you're down by two touchdowns. Nano Blitzes aren't allowed. And all players must play original position. (You can move LBs around and FB and HB switch are ok occasionally. Don't over due it.)
*Screens and Wildcat Plays are allowed. Just don't over use it. If we get complaints of people using the same plays or over using screens or the wildcat you will be dealt with. All this is included in fair play. If its not fair and your exploiting anything don't do it.
* Playcalling, Mixing it Up, Play Action
Owners are expected to mix up plays on both offense AND defense. If you lean more toward a certain style its understandable, but we ask that you keep it honest and dont abuse and exploit play calling.
Also, dont abuse the use of the playaction, lets try to keep the usage of it to realistic standards.
* QB Scrambling
Unrealistic QB scrambling/sprinting is prohibited on pass plays, including screens. Constantly dancing from sideline to sideline, running straight backwards or well behind the line of scrimmage without being under pressure is not realistic.
2 Point Conversions
You are allowed to go for it on 2 point conversions if you're down or in a position to win the game at the end of the game. If you can convert to push yourself into a win instead of a overtime it is completely legit and fair.
Draining Clock
If you're sitting on the ball the entire game it is against the rules. The ball should be moved normally unless you're up a whole lot and you're not trying to run up the score. You aren't allowed to continue letting the play clock drain down each and every play on offense. On defense if you let the clock run out its just the CPU will pick and it will actually hurt you more than help you.
